How Karuna India protects donors and genuine campaigners
Karuna India uses KYC, campaign review and payment transparency to reduce fake profiles and support verified fundraising.
Surepass KYC verification
Karuna India uses Surepass-based KYC verification modules to help identify users before campaign approval. This can include Aadhaar/DigiLocker, PAN and bank verification depending on the active verification flow.
If the submitted identity appears mismatched, suspicious or unverifiable, Karuna India may hold, reject or block the profile.
Fake profile prevention
Fake profiles, impersonation, misleading campaigns or mismatched documents may lead to instant blocking, campaign rejection and further review by the admin team.
Campaign review
Campaigns are reviewed before public visibility or promotion according to category, KYC, documents and platform rules.
Medical fast-track
Medical campaigns may be reviewed on priority after KYC and document checks, subject to review approval.
Non-medical rules
Other campaign types may require platform eligibility steps before public approval, as defined in the user dashboard and platform policies.
