Sagar Roy is a 45-year-old responsible community member who wants to create a meaningful public welfare project for people in need. His goal is to set up a community drinking water and cooling station that can provide clean drinking water, basic relief, and a safe resting point for daily workers, travellers, students, senior citizens, street vendors, and low-income families.
In many areas, people struggle to access clean and safe drinking water while travelling, working outdoors, or visiting markets and public places. During hot weather, this problem becomes even more difficult for labourers, delivery workers, rickshaw drivers, school children, and elderly people. Sagar wants to build a small but useful community facility where people can get free drinking water and basic support with dignity.
To start this initiative, Sagar Roy needs financial support of ₹9,50,000. The amount will be used to install a water purification system, water cooler, storage tank, shaded sitting area, basic counter, maintenance setup, signage, electricity support, and initial operating expenses.
